The story is set in 1998 and is about the relationship between Darla Yoo; the daughter of a guesthouse owner and Joonpyo Ahn (Junie); the son of a tenant of the guesthouse. She always treats him like a servant at school, but when only the two of them stay at home, they take a completely different attitude. The complicated jealous relationship of two childhood friends who grow up within their harsh family and school environments while discovering their terrible pasts from them. Will Junie be able to remove the rope of fate that grips him?
